Nothing says summer like the sweet taste of soft cardinal flesh between my teeth. So many cardinals, so little time.
Another special summer memory was when Grampie reached out to give me a rub, unsuspecting as I extended my nails and made that fool bleed. Blood was pouring out of him, staining the concrete for days. Still makes me chuckle.
Sometimes when I am bored and looking to entertain myself, I wait for homeless Karl to come along, expecting to eat the food that was just put out for him. When Karl gets a few feet from his bowl, I put the run on him. Like I'm not going to guess that he is going to come around another way and try again .... dah! I put the run on him again. Then, and this is the best part, I saunter over to his bowl and eat his food ..... even though I just ate. I do this day after day, it never gets old.
In the evening, just before bed, when I am tired but still needing some entertainment, nothing beats hissing and making pig sounds. Boy does this annoy my brothers, that is all except Ralphie. I sure do hate that guy.
I must not forget to tell you about a tried and true classic, tinkling on the neighbor's property. I bet that irks them, especially when I don't even cover up my business. I squat, raise my head in cocky defiance and let the river run.
Good times, but while these are some of my most favourite things, I would give them all up for one thing .... gravy. Why you ask. Well, simply put, gravy is a girl's best friend.
Hi Louise, it's me Bea! Mommy was at Michaels, an expensive jewelery store she tells me, and bought me this very pretty pink bead necklace for 39 cents! Mom says that is expensive but only the prettiest and best for me! I will wear it when I come for my Fall visit!
