Is that Louise napping with Ralphie? It can't possibly be, Louise hates Ralphie and Louise does not cuddle with anyone!

Rainy Day Blues

Tempers were flaring this rainy weekend.

Both Franklin and Ralphie were not happy about being stuck inside during the summer thunderstorms.

After their fight, Ralphie was willing to forgive and forget, Franklin was not!

It's not easy being Frank.

Presenting The Elusive Karl

Karl appeared a couple years ago, malnourished, nervous and absolutely unwilling to let anyone touch him. As time passed, Karl graciously accepted the food given to him (three times a day) and he sleeps on the bedding set up for him (patio furniture in the summer and an insulated hut in the winter). Karl, however, will not, under any circumstance, let anyone touch him, nor will he come in the house. While we are now able to get closer to Karl then ever before, Karl will have nothing to do with the idea of being rubbed, squeezed or patted.

I suppose we should just be grateful that Karl allows us to feed him, provide shelter and clean up after him. Thank you Karl for indulging us!

Summer Is Too Short

Clifford takes every opportunity available to go outside to get fresh air and take in some sun. Unfortunately due to his visual impairment, Clifford is not able to roam freely, as his brothers and sister are, but rather being confined to the back yard under supervision. While this situation is not ideal, Clifford is usually a good sport about it.

However, on this day, Clifford did not want to take any chance that he would be made to go inside before he was ready. Finding this shallow ditch in the garden, Clifford thought he could remain hidden if he nestled in deep enough. Nice try Clifford!

Big Brave Boy

Ralphie has been with us for just over a year now, and in that time he has come a long way. His most notable accomplishment is conquering the great outdoors. Well, sometimes he hides, crying like a little girl, but when there is no one else around, Ralphie is master of the yard.

Ralphie's other achievements include controlling his farts, keeping a clean butt and making Louise love him, well, at least tolerate him.

Here's too many more years of us being together Ralphie!

Back In Good Heath

Franklin and Louise both suffered with a nasty virus, lasting for a couple weeks
...... and let's just say, when Louise suffers, we all suffer.

But as you can see, both are back in good health, outside and tormenting nature.
